sueya wang, composer
Born in Taipei, Taiwan. With a scholarship award from the Education Department of Taiwan to study in Paris and entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with Alain Bancquart, Paul Méfano. She participated in the Summer Academies with Klaus Huber, Harrison Birtwistle and Gérard Grisey (Centre Acanthes), Brian Ferneyhough and Donatoni (Royaumont ),Germany darmstadt,with S. Sciarrino (Citta di Castello) and selected the annual curriculum of musical computing at IRCAM (1999-2000) .
His work ‘Cellule’ for solo percussion and electronics has been created at IRCAM (2000).
Some of his works have received awards. She gets:
- Le1er Prize "Yoshiro Irino Memorial" with "Theme and Variations" for cello and piano
- Award at the Taipei Composition Competition and The Ministry of Education Music Arts Creation Award(1996, 1998)
"Profiles d`outremer" for twelve instruments which was played later by l`Ensemble Alternation in Cite de la Musique (1997).

Elle a obtenu une Bourse du Gouvernement pour étudier à Paris, puis entre au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris où elle travaille avec Alain Bancquart, Paul Méfano. Elle participe a des Académies d`été avec Klaus Huber, Harrison Birtwistle et Gérard Grisey (Centre Acanthes), Brian Ferneyhough et Donatoni (Royaumont) et suit le cursus annuel de composition et d`informatique musicale de l`IRCAM (1999-2000).
‘Cellule’ pour percussion solo et électronique a été crée à l’IRCAM (2000). Certaines de ses oeuvres ont été primées. Elle obtient:
- le1er prix “Yoshiro Irino Memorial” avec ‘Thème et Variations’ pour violoncelle et piano
- le Prix au Concours de Composition de Taipei (1996, 1998) avec “Profils d`outremer” pour douze instruments qui a été joué par la suite par l`Ensemble Alternance à la Cite de la Musique (1997).

Par ailleurs, des trios ont été sélectionnés par la Société Internationale de Musique Contemporaine (ISCM, Angleterre, 1998,

Egalement “L`Ile sonnant IV’ a été sélectionnée par l’ACL ( Australia) et a obtenu le 1er Prix de “workshop” avec S. Sciarrino (Citta di castello).

台北市人.考取教育部獎學金赴法，畢業於國立巴黎高等音樂院，師事於Alain Bancquart 和 Paul Méfano。1999年入選法國IRCAM電腦音樂研究員，研習軟體和創作作品『細胞』(打擊和電腦音樂),
2000年在IRCAM 所特製可變換音場的音樂廳演出此作品.
